Feral Swine Exclusion Fence Funding
The South Carolina Association of Conservation Districts (SCACD) is pleased to announce the launch of the Feral Swine Exclusion Fence Funding Program, made possible through the NACD Feral Swine Exclusion Fencing Grant.
This cost-share program supports South Carolina landowners in installing fencing to protect against feral hog damageāan issue that causes millions of dollars in losses to crops, pastures, and natural resources each year.
While the program is open to landowners statewide, our priority outreach areas include:
Aiken, Allendale, Bamberg, Barnwell, Beaufort, Hampton, Orangeburg, Ridgeland, Walterboro

The District has a no-till grain drill for rent. The Great Plains grain drill can be used for planting cropland. It is located at the farm of Bobby McDaniel who oversees its use. The rental fee is $9.00 per acre for the Great Plains. Call the District office for more information on renting the drill. It is available for use in Georgetown County only.
