Local Workgroup Meeting
The Natural Resources Conservation Service needs your help to rate resource concerns in Georgetown County. The information gathered will be used to direct NRCS funding in FY25. The District has a no-till grain drill for rent. The Great Plains grain drill can be used for planting cropland. It is located at the farm of Bobby McDaniel who oversees its use. The rental fee is $9.00 per acre for the Great Plains. Call the District office for more information on renting the drill. It is available for use in Georgetown County only.
